Sorry I’m late, I got added to the Wild Hunt last night and ran and reveled with them for what felt like 100 years plus a day until I landed the killing blow on a stag with bronze antlers then suddenly woke in my bed, willow leaves in my hair, a nameless song echoing in my ears, and my hands still bloody, so yeah, totally missed my alarm and stuff.
Pour one out for all the stories you’ll never find again, that you barely remember in totality, but that left an impression on you that you’ll never forget.
The short stories from standardized tests that you only had a few minutes to read, but those minutes will last a lifetime.
The books on the library display shelf you used to occupy time until your mom could come pick you up from school.
The graphic novel you picked up when you were first getting into comics and could never find again.
The single lines or themes from stories you otherwise don’t remember, save for the one thing that you saw and internalized as a new part of your personality.

if i was in charge of the sequels i’d make poe dameron constantly wear classic rebellion pilot orange but crucially nobody else in the resistance does and he’s just really committed to the vintage look. it does work for him and everyone’s mad abt it

it’s the only thing finn pulls from the wreckage… finn crossing the desert leaving his stormtrooper armour behind and shielding himself from the sun with rebellion orange… rey recognising it from her pilot dolls, finn’s literally dressed like the heroes of her childhood dreams… “keep it. it suits you” but it’s the colour of the rebellion… the way he’d stand out against the darkness and the snow on starkiller base, bright and unmistakable… do you see my vision do you see it
also literally everyone on the resistance base sees finn in poe’s very bright very unmistakable Vintage Orange™️ and is like. well. okay then.

being a fan of a character is sometimes “look at how complex he is. he’s so intricate and his story is so tragic and he’s so much more complicated than people give him credit for” and sometimes it’s like “haha look at this failure of a person. I wanna throw him off a cliff and see what happens”
